The
club runs coaching clinics throughout the year to introduce
new lifters to the sport and provide assistance with lifting
technique.
The
goal of the clinic is to introduce first-time lifters to
the sport of powerlifting. Topics to be covered include:
the 3 competition lifts of the squat, bench press and deadlift,
training techniques, stretching and warming up, supplementary
exercises and preparations for your first training program.
