CB550 Cafe Racer

The start of a Honda CB550 Cafe Racer:

Not much work completed yet. Still gathering parts. The bike has seen a little racing action before I aquired it. Most tabs have been removed from the frame and there is minimal wiring. As raced it had CB650 air forks with single disc and twin piston caliper. I have replaced these with CB750 Bol Dor forks and 10" TZ 4LS drum brakes currently installed on my CB350 Cafe Racer. These pictures show 350 with the GT750 4LS (before I changed it the the TZ drum).
Frame:
1974 CB550. Most other bits should be identifiable -
front brake is a 10" TZ 4LS, Koni shocks, CB550 rear drum,
GPZ250 rearsets, 35mm forks are off a DOHC 750 Honda, clipons,
1/4 turn quick action single cable throttle.
Engine:
CB550 with CB750 pistons, CB650 Carbs, alternator but no
starter motor.
